Introduction of Book
·     Introduce the story Bobby’s Secret is Out.  Ask readers to define the word secret (hidden). 

·     Tell the readers that there are good and bad secrets.  Ask students to explain what a good secret is and what a     bad secret is.

·Ask readers to guess what Bobby’s secret is.

    Story
·Begin reading the story to readers.

·Select important excerpts from the book and discuss the content during reading.

For example, on the very first content page it says:

When Bobby asked Mrs. Blair why she called students Doctor this and Attorney that and Chef such and such and such, Mrs. Blair said, “It is important to speak life into the lives of people.”  Then she said, “I don’t expect you to be a doctor, but I expect you to be someone great.”

Remember that the main focus of the story is helping readers to focus on their lives and how they can contribute their gifts and talents to help others.
